The Little Mermaid Jr.

On the campus of Lancaster County Christian School

July 15, 2023

Journey "under the sea" with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr., adapted from Disney's Broadway production and the motion picture. In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking.

She has been performing around the United States for the last decade, most recently in Sight and Sound's production of Queen Esther. Jennifer is so excited about the mission and community that Servant Stage provides. Excellence in learning, performance, and service is what she hopes she can bring to this particular project. She is constantly thankful for her family and friends for their unending love and support. Luke 17:10.

Britt Jarkowsky (Assistant Director/Choreographer) is excited to be back for her 11th Servant Stage camp! Britt earned her BFA in Musical Theatre with a focus on voice from LBC. She began her ever-growing private vocal studio in 19’, and quickly found a love for teaching. Britt is part of the Theatre Education Outreach Program here at Servant Stage, and is also co-director of Junior Company. Besides Servant Stage some of her favorite production team credits include: CCSA (D: Frozen Kids, Voice Staff), Lancaster Bible College (ASM Singin’ In The Rain, SM Radium Girls), and Ephrata Performing Arts Center (ASM-Conductor Les Miserables, MD Rudolph Jr, MD Moana Jr.). Some of Britt’s favorite onstage credits include: Spongebob The Musical (Revival Productions, Ensemble U/S Sandy); Three Little Pigs (Red Accordion, Sui); Titanic, Ragtime (Servant Stage); Hello Dolly (Minnie Fay, LBC). Amberly Barker (Education Program Manager) is excited to be a part of bringing theatre education to the Lancaster area with Servant Stage. Originally from Berks County, she spent four years in sunny West Palm Beach, Florida earning a B.A. in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in musical theatre performance from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Since then she has spent the last nine years at Sight & Sound, a member of the stage management team for most of that time. She lives in Lititz with her husband, Mike, and their daughters, Marley and Delaney. She carves out time in her life for reading, hiking, showtunes, and sweet friendships. Zephaniah 3:17
