Servant Stage Company announced its 2017 season of shows at a public celebration and fundraising event on Oct. 16.

Offerings will include the Broadway musical "Little Women" in February and March and "The Civil War," a dramatic concert by Frank Wildhorn, in May and June.

In July and August, Servant Stage Company will present "Sing Sing Swing," a song-and-dance tribute to the Swing era, featuring the music of legends like Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Benny Goodman.

“It is a little-known fact that when Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote his many tales of "Sherlock Holmes," Holmes never uttered the phrase "Elementary, my dear Watson." Jonathan Bauer, executive producer of the Servant Stage production of "Sherlock Holmes, The Detective and The Doctor," noted that the famous line was actually introduced in later versions of Holmes mysteries.
