Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

Schedule

FROZEN JR will rehearse on Sundays (3-9pm), Tuesdays (6-9pm), and Thursdays (6-9pm), January 5-20. Tech week will be the evenings of January 21-23, and the performances will take place January 24-26 at Lancaster County Christian School.


Meet The Directors

LAUREN GROFF (Director) is passionate about youth growing in the skills and joys of theater and is thrilled to bring Frozen JR to life onstage after directing Once On This Island JR last summer! She graduated from Liberty University with a BS Interdisciplinary degree that merged together Theater, Ministry, and Psychology. The years since has kept Lauren busy whether teaching acting and voice (Creative Pursuits Studio, Lancaster Academy for the Performing Arts, Cavod Academy), staffing summer camps (LAPA, Cavod Academy, Servant Stage Company), or directing shows (LAPA, Veritas Academy, Locust Grove). Lauren has performed at local theaters such as Servant Stage Company, Cavod Theatre, Reji Woods Productions, Piercing Word, Steitz City Players, Popovsky Performing Arts, and Fulton Theatre. She also serves as Touring Manager for Servant Stage. See you in Arendelle!

WALLY CALDERON (Servant Stage Artistic Director) Originally from Green Bay, WI, Wally earned his BFA in Music Theatre Performance and Direction from Ohio Northern University. For over 15 years, Wally traveled the country as a freelance performer, director, and choreographer. Notable stays include the Miracle Theatre in Pigeon Forge, TN, The Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH, Hershey Park, and the highly credited Stagedoor Manor in upstate New York.
