Meet the Cast of
Jesse Corbin (Ralph Rackstraw) is excited to return to Lancaster to work with Servant Stage for the first time and to be reunited with old friends on stage. Most recently he has enjoyed rocking out as Link in Hairspray at Mill Mountain Theatre and getting the chance to appear in the New York Frigid Festival in a new piece of musical theatre. Holly Wert (Josephine) is delighted to be making her debut with Servant Stage Company! In addition to her full time role as mommy to Stella and Margot, Holly currently works for The Sight & Sound Conservatory. She performed as an actor for many years at Sight & Sound Theatres in such productions as Noah, Miracle of Christmas, Ruth, Daniel, Behold the Lamb and Psalms of David. Other credits include Guys and Dolls, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Fiddler on the Roof and HMS Pinafore. Holly received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Maywood University.
Robert Bigley (Dick Deadeye) enjoys a multi-faceted career that seems to broaden with each new season of life. He is currently the Director of Choral Activities at Lancaster Bible College, Executive Director of the Trust Performing Arts Center, and Chorus Master for Opera Lancaster. As an actor/singer, Bigley has performed with PRiMA Theatre (Lancaster), Taproot Theatre Company (Seattle), Florida Grand Opera (Miami), countless choirs and vocal ensembles, television and radio ads, as well as several industrial shows. Some of his favorite past roles include Harold Hill (The Music Man), Clem Rogers (Will Rogers Follies), and Escamillo (Carmen). Bigley holds degrees from University of Washington, Eastman School of Music, and the University of Miami, where he conducted the academic premiere of Into the Woods. Bigley lives in Lancaster City, PA with his lovely wife Kendra (a professional pianist and fellow Eastman grad), and their three children. A big fan of Servant Stage from its inception, Bigley is honored to be making his debut with the company this summer in this fantastic role! SDG

Seth Garrett Antes (Boatswain’s Mate, Captain u/s) is overjoyed to share the stage with such a great company and cast. This is his 5th production with Servant Stage Company, having appeared in An Old-Fashioned Christmas, The Importance of Being Earnest, and the Old-Time Gospel Radio Hour (twice). He has also performed locally with Piercing Word and at the Fulton Theatre. Soli Deo Gloria.
Duane Hespell (Sir Joseph Porter) Duane’s last romp through a Gilbert and Sullivan piece was as Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance many...(sigh)...many years ago. No longer the young ingenue, Duane hopes to still win the hearts of the lasses (and lads, as well) with his portrayal of Sir Joseph in today's performance. He has served a good many years at Sight & Sound, and more recently with Prima and Theater of the Seventh Sister. Duane was first seen in a Servant Stage production as Dr. Chausable in The Importance of Being Earnest. Other musical theater highlights include the title roles in Peter Pan and Joseph and the… Dreamcoat, and the role of Alphonse in Frankenstein, The New Musical.
Rachel Stargel (Little Buttercup) is tremendously excited for this opportunity to play with Misters Gilbert and Sullivan and the awesome cast and crew of Servant Stage! Originally from Colorado, she has been living the gypsy life and performing with her husband in theaters from Indiana to Florida, and even on the high seas of Alaska! Some of her favorite roles include Eliza Doolittle (My Fair Lady), a flying Narrator (Ruth), Uriel (The Miracle), Hilda Miller (Plain and Fancy), the plastic surgery-crazed Sheila Whiting (Skin Deep/ Have I got a girl for you), Katie Lapp (The Confession), and now Little Buttercup! She is constantly humbled by the wonderful people she gets to work with and the amazing audiences that make every show so meaningful. Sue Steffy (Cousin Hebe) When the last of her children went off to college, Sue revived her interest in singing and acting. She has performed with Ephrata Performing Arts Center, Popovsky Productions, Promise Players and sings in choir and on worship team at Calvary Church. She is happy to be in her 2nd SSC production. Sue loves to ballroom dance, studies voice and tap dancing and she’s delighted to be a part of this terrific show. Justin Bendo (Ensemble) is a recent graduate of Lancaster Bible College, having majored in Musical Theater. He has performed other shows with LBC, such as: Once Upon a Mattress as the Nightingale, Seussical the Musical as a Wickersham Brother, Importance of Being Ernest, and Fiddler on the Roof as Perchik. Justin is excited to perform HMS Pinafore with Servant Stage Company! He hopes you enjoy the show!
Delaney Bigley (Ensemble), a 14-year-old rising freshman, is already active in the Lancaster performing arts scene, appearing on the Fulton, Prima, LBC, West End Shakespeare Co., COBALT Dance Co., and Lancaster Academy stages. Her favorite roles include Adele in Jane Eyre, the Musical, Annie in Annie, Jr., Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Brigitta in The Sound of Music, and Ensemble in Mary Poppins. Delaney studies voice with Ms. Heidi Shannon and takes hours of dance classes each week at Susquehanna Dance Center. She is excited to be part of this Servant Stage production with (almost) her whole family!
Caleb Brown (Ensemble) has established himself in the Central PA region as both a violinist and instructor. He performs regularly with Matt Wheeler & Vintage Heart, Saint Elouise, with local theater companies, and as a soloist. Caleb has played in the Old-Time Gospel Show for Servant Stage Company and is excited to be part of the HMS Pinafore. His violin can be heard in recordings with multiple groups and has proven his skill in both classical music and heavy rock. When not performing, Caleb is a private instructor and conducts the orchestra for the Lancaster Academy for the Performing Arts and mentors its small ensembles. He is also an Activity Coordinator at a retirement community and uses his music to bring enjoyment to the residents there.
Brandon Cameron (Ensemble) is excited to be a part of HMS Pinafore, his second production with Servant Stage Company. He most recently performed in the Old-Time Gospel Radio Hour. Brandon is a sixteen year old high school student who has been doing musical theater since the age of eight. He has also performed with Sight and Sound, American Music Theater and Prima Theatre. Brandon would like to thank Johnathan Bauer, Wally Calderon, and the entire cast and crew for this amazing opportunity.
Tanner Emmerling (Cabin Boy) is 10 years old and attends 4th grade at Lampeter-Strasburg School. Tanner has appeared at DreamWrights Theatre, Prima Theatre, and was a featured soloist in EPAC's "Youth Cabaret." He recently performed in Servant Stage Company's Old-Time Radio Gospel Hour, and School House Rock Live for Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. Tanner is blessed to have been selected to sing for Servant Stage Company again. Thanks go out to Johnathan and Wally for allowing him these wonderful opportunities!
Joy Herr (Ensemble, Josephine u/s) is 16 and has been homeschooled her entire life. Her voice teacher is Sarah Cope. She has been taking lessons from Sarah for over two years. Joy has also been involved in several musicals with The Lancaster Academy for the Performing Arts (The Academy), recently playing Diana in their spring musical of Anne of Green Gables. She is a part of The Academy’s Concert Choir and Advanced Chamber Ensemble. Last December she had the opportunity to play Betty in their short concert version of White Christmas. Joy is thrilled to be a part of Servant Stage Company’s HMS Pinafore! She is continually humbled and thankful to God for giving her many opportunities to do what she loves.
Melissa Hildebrand (Ensemble, Dance Captain) is a theater-loving individual, with over 20 years of dance experience, and a growing skill in theater and music. With anticipation and excitement, she joins this cast of talented and committed individuals. She would like to thank her dear friends, Johnathan and Rebecca Bauer, for acquainting her with, and allowing her to perform in what has become one of her favorite musicals. She would also like to thank her family, for always encouraging her to make her dreams into a reality. Love you always pop.
Wes Madara (Ensemble) is happy to be part of Servant Stage's production of HMS Pinafore, having previously played a few roles at LBC's campus, including Cat in the Hat in Seussical. He preformed with Servant Stage once before in the production of The Importance of Being Earnest and is happy to be with them again.
Jonah M. Martin (Ensemble), age 21, hails originally from Rochester, NY. Currently he attends Lancaster Bible College majoring in Musical Theater. Recent roles include Sir Harry in Once Upon a Mattress, Horton the Elephant in Seussical, and Mordcha in Fiddler on the Roof, and this is his first with servant stage. While he's not prancing about the stage, Jonah enjoys playing a myriad of instruments and folk music. Jonah is beyond blessed by Wally and Johnathan for the incredible opportunity this is and would like to thank his family and friends for their continuing love and support. Mom, Dad, Benji, this one's for you. Most importantly Jonah would like to thank the good Lord Jesus for his mercy's anew and providence this far.
Justin Mazzella (Ensemble, Ralph u/s), Pennsylvania born, grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. Throughout his middle and high school years he grew up in theater, performing in the Charleston Youth Company for six years before graduating. With the intent of teaching in a public school setting, Justin attended Newberry College, also in South Carolina, and finished his undergrad with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education. The summer before his senior year he appeared as Tony in West Side Story which inspired him to peruse his career in performance once again. His passion for music and performance propels him into furthering his career as an actor and musician. Now Justin works as an actor at Sight & Sound theaters and will continue perusing music and performance.
Olivia Perry (Ensemble) is a sophomore in the musical theatre department at Lancaster Bible College, and is thrilled to be working with Servant Stage Company for the first time! Olivia has performed in several shows, her favorite past roles include Chava in LBC’s Production of Fiddler on the Roof, a bird girl in LBC’s Production of Seussical the Musical, Sarah Brown from Guys and Dolls, and a Nubian in Prima Theatre’s production of Aida. She would like to thank her family, friends, the cast and crew, and the directors for their encouragement and support.
Emma Shepard (Ensemble) is thrilled to be in the ensemble of Servant Stage’s production of HMS Pinafore. In the past, she performed in the ensemble of the world premiere of The Centurion the Musical at Living Waters Theatre and in the ensembles of Fiddler on the Roof and Seussical at Lancaster Bible College, where she is currently studying to get her BFA in Musical Theatre and BA in Biblical Studies. “Shout out to my family and friends! Claire Southwell (Ensemble) is excited to join Servant Stage for the first time. After growing up on the beautiful Canadian West coast, Claire spent several years in Idaho before moving to Lancaster last year. She has performed in Much Ado About Nothing, Arsenic and Old Lace, short films, and even a prior production of HMS Pinafore--as a grungy, dreadlocked sailor! Claire would like to thank her husband Daniel and their toddler John for their love and support, and can't wait for them to see the show. SDG.
Adam Zembower (Ensemble) is a senior at Lancaster Bible College and studies Worship Arts. Adam has been in several productions including LBC's Seussical as a Wickersham Brother and the recent production of Fiddler on the Roof as Motel. In high school, he played roles in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and The Wiz. He is really excited to be a part of this show and wants you to enjoy the show!"
Derek Bigley (Ensemble, Boatswain u/s) is a student at Lancaster Bible College where he will be entering his junior year in the Sport Management department this fall. Although not studying it in college, performance is one of his passions and something he tries to involve himself in as often as he can. Past musical theatre roles have included Fred (A Christmas Carol), Jack/Ernest (Importance of Being Earnest), Jojo (Seussical Jr.), Quartet Tenor (The Music Man), and a Wickersham Brother (Seussical the Musical). Besides participating in shows in high school or at LBC, Derek has enjoyed singing with the LBC Chorale and Chamber Singers and acting with local companies such as Prima Theater and now Servant Stage Company.
Aimee Bohner (Ensemble, Buttercup u/s) is excited to make her Servant Stage debut in HMS Pinafore. She recently moved to the Lancaster area from Orlando, FL where she played Lily in Secret Garden as well as performing at the Holy Land Experience for over 2 years. Other credits include Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Amalia in She Loves Me, Sister Mary Leo in Nunsense, and Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof. Aimee is thankful for the opportunities God has given her to use her talents, and she's looking forward to what the future holds in the Lancaster area.
Jonathan Dinkle (Ensemble, Dick Deadeye u/s) is a musical theatre major at Lancaster Bible College (LBC) entering into his fourth year there. He recently played Tevye in LBC’s production of Fiddler on the Roof. He is also involved in various other local acting groups such as Lancaster Opera and Piercing Word in Ruth and The Passion. He would like to thank his family for being an undying source of support and encouragement.
Alissa Hawk (Ensemble) is continually surprised by what life brings her way and how God has blessed her. After years of always being in the audience and having next to no theatrical experience on the stage, she is pleasantly surprised to have been a part of LBC's production of Fiddler on the Roof in January, and now only a few months later, a part of Servant Stage Company's production of HMS Pinafore. She is excited and honored to be a part of this show and is looking forward to performing in the future.
Caleb Heckman (Ensemble) was last seen onstage as Schroeder in Cavod Community Theater's You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown and an extra in Fulton Theater's Les Miserables, as well as many other productions at different theatre companies in Lancaster County over the last five years. Besides his love for acting, he has also spent some time backstage in different capacities, having recently been the vocal director for The Lancaster Academy for the Performing Arts' Anne of Green Gables the Musical, stage manager for CCT's Oliver!, and music director for the Lancaster Academy's summer camp production of Honk! Jr. When not involved in theatre, Caleb teaches voice and piano, works, plays his piano, and sometimes sleeps.
Della Limbert (Ensemble) is thrilled to continue her first season with Servant Stage! Della has been involved with the Fine Arts since she was very young and over the past 15 years she has appeared in numerous local choirs, orchestras, ensembles and theater productions. Some of her credits include Little Women, Oklahoma, The King and I, Quilters and Mountain Jack. She is very excited to be a part of the ensemble of one of Gilbert & Sullivan’s beloved comic operas. Melissa Martin (Ensemble) is encouraged to join the Servant Stage Company for their production of HMS Pinafore. Previous roles she has enjoyed include a nun in The Sound of Music, an orphan in Annie, Widow Corney in Oliver, an ensemble member in The Music Man, and Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof. Melissa has also enjoyed joining Opera Lancaster in events and productions like Opera Tale’s the Three Little Pigs. Thank you for coming and we hope you enjoy the show!
Alli McClune (Ensemble, Dance Captain) is a freshman musical theatre major at LBC and is very excited to be part of HMS Pinafore. In the past, she has performed in multiple shows at her high school, in the teen production of Mary Poppins at the Fulton where she was Neleus and dance captain, and most recently was part of Fiddler on the Roof at LBC where she was in the ensemble and was dance captain.
Bradley Myer (Ensemble) lives in Strasburg with his parents, Doug & Janet Myer. He has been involved in theatre since age seven performing with Sight & Sound Theatres, Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, Cavod Community Theatre, Lampeter-Strasburg High School Thespian Society, Piercing Word Ministries, Servant Stage Company, and The Lancaster Chorale & Orchestra. Brad enjoys taking piano lessons, tap dance, ballet, and voice lessons. When he is not focusing on his music, Brad enjoys reading, camping, fishing, and swimming. Candice Quinn (Ensemble) is excited to be making her debut with Servant Stage. A recent vocal performance graduate of Lancaster Bible College, she has been a featured soloist in works such as Handel’s Dixit Dominus, Brahm’s Liebeslieder Waltzes, and Schubert’s Mass in G. She could also be seen playing the role of Despina in Opera Lancaster’s production of Opera Tales. Candice toured with a group called Re-creation USA performing over 300 shows a year for our nations heroes throughout 48 states. She was recently awarded first place at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) for classical singing in the adult category. Currently, she teaches for S.W.A.N., an organization that provides free music lessons for children with single and incarcerated parents. Candice is so grateful for her family, friends, and fiancé for always encouraging her to pursue her dreams.
Rebecca Wells (Ensemble) is a graduate from the Vocal Performance program at Lancaster Bible College. She has performed in various shows with LBC including: Singin’ in the Rain, Once upon a Mattress, and Suessical The Musical as Gertrude McFuzz. Rebecca was a chorus member in PRiMA Theater’s production of Elton John’s Aida. She also had the opportunity to be in Civil War 360, a Smithsonian Documentary, where she played Mary Galloway, a female civil war soldier. Rebecca is thrilled to be working with Servant Stage this summer!
