"I'll Fly Away"
Old-Time Gospel Show

Seth Garrett Antes (Southern Gentleman Vocal Band) lives in Manheim with his family. He has performed locally with Piercing Word and will make his Fulton Theatre debut this summer in Les Miserables. It is with great joy that he joins his friends in Servant Stage Company to sing these great gospel standards for you.

Jim Bauer (Backwoods Bluegrass Boys- Upright Bass & Harmonica) and his wife, Mary, live in Maine. He has enjoyed acting and directing in local theater ever since his son, Johnathan, got him interested at a young age. They enjoy coming down to this area to visit their family.

Johnathan Bauer (Musical Director) lives in Strasburg with his wife, Rebecca. He has worked locally with Sight & Sound Theatres, Fulton Theatre, Piercing Word, and Prima. He is thrilled to celebrate the joy, life, and message of these great gospel songs with you. Thanks for supporting Servant Stage!

Caleb Brown (Backwoods Bluegrass Boys- Fiddle) is a highly active musician, recording with local singer-songwriters and performing throughout central PA in bands and solo acts. He also enjoys conducting string ensembles and teaching private lessons. Caleb is excited to be the crazy fiddle player in this Servant Stage production.

Katie Conner (Hughes Family Singers) is a recent graduate from Sight & Sound’s Performing Arts Conservatory. This is her first performing venture since graduating and it has been an absolute pleasure. She is thrilled to serve the Lord with her gifts and talents through Servant Stage Company’s “Old Time Gospel Show.” God bless!


Paul Drellock-Hughes (Southern Gentlemen Vocal Band) is excited to be joining the cast again for a 4th time with SSC! He's a junior at Millersville University studying Music and Theatre. Paul has performed locally in the area with PRiMA, Creative Works of Lancaster, Timbers Dinner Theater, and many others.

Melissa Hildebrand (Servant Sisters) was born and raised in Lancaster, PA. She has performed and choreographed for Cavod Academy Theatre. Favorite roles include Vita Louise Simmons in Harvey, Kitty in Where’s Charlie, Mary Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life. She is very thankful for the opportunity to perform with a very talented and lively cast.

Chad Hughes (Hughes Family Singers) is a happy student who enjoys video games as well as performing. He has appeared locally with Sight & Sound, Theater of the Seventh Sister and Cavod Academy. He’s currently in the youth cast for the American Music Theater and playing Charlie in his school production of Willy Wonka, Jr.

Eric Hughes (Hughes Family Singers) lives with his wife Paula and their two sons Paul and Chad. He enjoys singing and also plays clarinet. Offstage he works as a metal fabricator and set builder. Eric also participates in his church choir. He looks forward to performing with family and singing the songs of his youth.

Paula Hughes (Hughes Family Singers) loves to sing. She has performed locally with Sight & Sound, Rainbow Dinner Theater, and Cavod Academy. Offstage, she’s a stage artist and avid crocheter. Paula is thrilled to be a part of the Servant Stage Company and is thankful to God for the blessings of friends, family, and music.

Meagan Mapson (Servant Sisters) is from Georgia and has a BFA in Musical Theatre. She has performed in many parts of the country and in Lancaster, including the Fulton, Dutch Apple, Rainbow Dinner Theatre and Piercing Word. She enjoys singing on the Worship Team at Harvest Bible Chapel and is happily married to Jeff. Psalms 104:33-34

Emily Marini (Hughes Family Singers) is from New Holland, and has been performing in her family’s music ministry since she was young. She is now a professional harpist, and has enjoyed music, dance, and drama in a variety of different concerts and shows and considers all such opportunities to be gifts from God. She is so excited to join you and SSC in celebrating Him through these old gospel pearls.

Mark Marini (Backwoods Bluegrass Boys- Mandolin & Guitar) is a local musician from Lancaster who has played with numerous groups in the area and also performed with his family for over 10 years. He has really enjoyed being in his first SSC production, and has also really enjoyed playing bluegrass again, since he grew up playing it.

Paul Marini (Backwoods Bluegrass Boys- Mandolin, Guitar & Hammered Dulcimer), a local of Lancaster County has performed for over 10 years with his family (The Marini Family) and more recently Sight & Sound, Piercing Word, and Prima Theaters. He is super excited to be performing again with the Servant Stage Company! I hope you are blessed and have half as much fun as I will tonight! God bless. (1st Corinthians 10:31)

Sheldon Markel (Southern Gentleman Vocal Band) is a native of Ashland, OH and resides in Strasburg. You may have seen him in other productions with Servant Stage, Piercing Word or performing in downtown Lancaster. His passion for music and people carries through in performing, serving at Threshold Church, and working for Apple Inc. His prayer is that you leave this show blessed and allow the words of these songs to penetrate your heart. God bless!!


Kyle McCleary (Radio Sound Effects Man) is excited to be back on stage with Servant Stage Company. Kyle has lived in Lancaster county since 2010, being involved in theatre with Cavod Community Theatre, Ephrata Performing Arts Center and Sight and Sound Theatres. Keep an eye out for Kyle in future shows throughout the year.

Bradley Myer (Hughes Family Singers) is 12 years old and in 7th grade. He lives in Strasburg with his parents, Doug & Janet Myer, and sister, Jennifer.  Brad has been in theatre since age 7, performing with Sight & Sound Theatres, Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, Cavod Community Theatre, Lampeter-Strasburg High School Thespian Society, and Piercing Word.  He would like to thank Johnathan for giving him the opportunity to be involved in this production.

Meredith Nicholson (Radio Stage Manager) loves to be involved with theatre in any and every way.  She's been involved with Cavod Community Theatre for the last several years as an actor, costumer, and stage manager.  She can't wait to see what the future holds! Romans 8:28.

Kat Prickett (Servant Sisters) Kat’s first church solo was at age 3 - “Jesus Loves Me” and she is so happy to be performing with Servant Stage! Kat has worked with Dutch Apple, PRiMA, Allenberry Playhouse, and Theatre Harrisburg, to name a few. She lives in Mount Joy with her husband, Tyler.

Darren Wagner (Southern Gentleman Vocal Band) is delighted to be performing again with Servant Stage Company! He's a graduate of Lancaster Bible College and has performed at Ephrata Performing Arts Center, Theater of the Seventh Sister, PRiMA Theatre, Gretna Theatre, and Piercing Word. All glory to God!

Lance Yunkin (Backwoods Bluegrass Boys- Banjo) has performed with Servant Stage Company several times in the past, and he is thrilled to join them again for their Old-Time Gospel show! This uplifting style of music is near to his heart, and to be able to perform it with such fabulous musicians is truly a blessing.
